Sharing a few photos from a wedding editorial we worked on with our girl crushes Emmily Jones of The Gatherist and Maria Lamb. We've been waiting for the right concept to shoot at the James Turrell "Three Gems" exhibit at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, so it was kismet when Emmily reached out to us with this concept and color story. See the full feature on Once Wed!
We had the pleasure of making flowers for the sweetest couple at Trou Normand in San Francisco this Spring, just as the spirea and peonies were coming online. So lovely to work with Harvesting Love, Vicki Grafton, and a host of other talents on this one. Sharing a few glimpses here -- their entire wedding gallery is featured on the front page of Style Me Pretty!
From our bride:
"Having worked in the wedding industry for a number of years, I crossed paths with Studio Mondine in their early days. I loved their style and booked them first thing, before any of my other vendors! Even though our wedding ended up being delayed a year due to an unforeseen job opportunity and move to NYC, they rolled with it. Through them I found Lorraine Lee. She was one of the best decisions we made. Lorraine and her team insured everything went off without a hitch and made the long distance planning as smooth as possible."
We teamed up with Nine Cakes and Jen Huang Photography to bring you 10 different botanical wedding cake ideas, inspired by the naturalistic bride. Just a few clippings from our garden was enough to create a range of wedding cake flower designs! Many thanks to Nine Cakes for baking such artful cakes, and Jen Huang for spending the afternoon with us to capture the details!
