Los Angeles, California

As featured in Martha Stewart. For their winter wedding celebration in Los Angeles, Joana and Steve sought to celebrate their shared Korean-American heritage in the details. Nancy Park of So Happi Together sourced a beautiful butterfly motif plate that became the central palette inspiration for the entire day. The plate was a bit moody, a bit glam, and featured lots of movement -- something we wanted to capture in the flowers as well. The couple also requested that their wedding flowers be environmentally low impact, so we worked diligently with local growers and foragers to source what was in season and required the least transportation. The very last of the season specialty garden roses from Ella Rose Farms provided a bit of glam to the tabletops, bouquets, and mantel.
